Here's a site that lists the #1 song on the Billboard chart for "any" date in any year. So, what was the #1 song on the day your were born? Or the day you got married?
If you have i-Tunes on your computer you can listent to the song. I don't.
#1 Song on This Day
This site won't replace my Bookmark folder (the Firefox version of Explorer's Favorites) but it's a handy page. Just looking over it I see sites I want to go visit.

The NASCAR race is on as I type this. I read in today's paper that when NASCAR comes to town, Phoenix International Raceway is the 4th largest "city" in the state. That's a clue to what traffic is like on area roads and freeways.
Because the Jewish day begins at 6 p.m. the Sabbath starts on what we call Friday evening. I've pretty much kept the Sabbath today. I knew I was sore and tired from hustling that paint job for 9 hours yesterday but I didn't realize just how sore I was until 1:00 a.m. when the muscle stiffness in my back woke me up. I took some Aspirin and went back to bed at 3:00 and got up at 6:00. More Aspirin. I had two naps in by noon and took another short one after lunch. But hey, I've been a regular whirling dervish since then. Or not.
As usual, I'm looking forward to tomorrow morning. Matt is going to lead singing beginning tomorrow and that's good for several reasons; it represents another step in our maturation as a church. And I like the biblical truths we'll be examining.
In the first hour we'll look at the three words translated "redemption" in the NT, each with a slightly different shade of meaning and each giving a different perspective into the salvation we have through Christ.
In the Foundations hour we're going to talk about the two hermeneutic options for interpreting the Bible. Sound intimidating? Not at all! I guarantee that at the end of our time everyone will be very comfortable with the concept, have a good grasp of the issue and understand why it has to be the starting place for reading the Bible.
Come see!
