I'm may sleep in tomorrow

A truly bad day at work.
It's 8:30 p.m. and I'm still conscious, but just barely.
Since I got home a couple of hours ago I've had dinner, then supper, then another supper just for good measure. And maybe a couple of gallons of liquid, only half of which was Diet Coke.

The long-anticipated golf game is history. I had a great time. Which is not to say I had a great round, but it was a lot of fun. Nobody who was there takes themselves too seriously so we laughed at ourselves and each other. It's a very nice course, especially compared to what I'm used to here in Sun City.
No, I'm not going to admit to my score, but I will tell you that I shot less than the temperature. Which is to say it was REALLY hot today.
I hit just enough good shots to delude myself into thinking that with enough practice, and maybe a little expert help, I could actually be OK at this game. I enjoy golf, and playing with a group of guys that give it and take it and laugh that easily is what - at least at my level - makes golf fun.
Yeah, I had a good time.

Church was good, too. Apparently I need to work on my rendition of a giraffe, but then everybody thinks they're an art critic. And we learned about hakmah.

Tomorrow I'm headed back to the double-wide to put vinyl down in the laundry room and take care of a few punch list items. It may be wise (hakmah) to avoid the use of power tools until sometime Tuesday.
And Wednesday is a bike ride. Gooood times!
