OK, is this real? 'cause if it is I'm one of about 100 million men in America who is seriously humiliated.

I got a call from Ryann this morning telling me the power company was coming to turn on the electric sometime between 8 and 5 today. I decided to take the optimistic outlook and showed up at 1:00. Oh well.
So I spent the afternoon here at Paradise Bakery (Panera west) working on the curriculum. At the moment I'm eating supper - a half sandwich and cup of soup - before heading over to meet with a couple at the nearby Starbucks. It didn't make any sense to drive home just to turn around and come back in, and anticipating that the power might not be on I packed my laptop before I left the house.
As a result of the afternoon's work I now have both the student handouts and teacher's guide for year one edited and the Power Point presentations made for each of the 25 lessons. Of course I didn't do all of that this afternoon! Just the last 4 lessons.
The next step is to send it all out to a couple of people who have agreed to serve as readers/editors/checkers. I learned a long time ago that a project this size needs other eyes.

There's enough serious stuff in the world that having something as engaging and inconsequential as sport provides a healthy escape.
Back at home. A long day but worthwhile.
Long days make for tired old men. So if I had a clever thought to post it has long since disappeared from my consciousness. If it comes back I'll put it in tomorrow night. If it doesn't come back we'll all consider that an indication that....

"Ball Girl" is not real. That doesn't mean you shouldn't be feel humiliated for some reason; just that you shouldn't be humiliated because of a doctored video. Its an ad for Gatorade produced by production house "Element 79". Hey, you preach and teach, I know business and production. cyb
