I have animal magnetism. When I go outside squirrels stick to my clothes.
Here it is! It went to the printer this afternoon, and after the final number crunching we learned that it will be delivered to 10,711 homes on Nov. 6. The piece will be on card stock and 5" x 11" so it will stand out from other pieces in the mail. (The printer's marks on image won't be in the printed version; they only shows up in the proofs. I should have cropped them out, just didn't think of it until I'd already added the images here.)
If you're inclined, we'd sure appreciate your prayers for this effort. We'd like an overwhelming response to this mailing and I think that's a real possibility. The west valley has a dearth of Bible churches; almost all of them are "seeker" oriented. Our piece seeks to make it clear that Pathway is a place where the Bible is taught in a substantial and relevant way.
Along with a strong response we're praying about the logistical problems that response would create. Basically, we're asking God to present us with some real problems, believing that if he gives us people looking for a Bible church he'll give us the means to deal with the problems that creates. We don't have the space, the chairs, the childrens ministries... What we do have is a commitment to what we believe is a biblically patterned church and a great group of people. God can work with that!
GREAT NEWS! They're building a Burger King two miles from our house!
The first task is to eliminate those stupid Geico caveman ads. Once that's done can we get rid of Toyota's "Saved by zero" song? Bad musically and really annoying. Besides, what does it mean??
My friend Sherry turned me on to Pandora via her blog. We're using it a lot. It's like having satellite radio. I plugged in my speaker system and listened to interruption-free classical music all morning while I worked on curriculum. Then Motown through lunch. Crank it up!
Pam works Friday, which means she won't get home until almost 8:00 p.m. So I'll have to take care of all the Trick or Treat-ers who come to the door.
You're thinking, "In Sun City?"
Alzheimer's
I ran with my MP3 player this morning, the first time I've done that. I ran the route faster than I have prior to today but I gotta get some ear buds with a wrap-around piece. Mine kept falling out.
I thought about trying swimming the same way but decided at the last minute it wasn't such a good idea.
OK, I think I need to concentrate on the Colt's game. It looks like they need my help if they're going to get the W.

Wow, thanks for the Pandora link! I love it! My channel is pop/alternative.

I like how you put the series of messages for November on the postcard. It'll get people thinking.
