Last week's TIME magazine features dating advice from four "experts," each of whom has written a book on the subject. Helen Fisher is an anthropologist who is divorced. Steve Harvey, the comedian, has been married three times. Whitney Casey, a journalist was married for nine months and Michael Somerville, another comedian, has never been married.
On her last day in China Secretary of State Hillary Clinton pressed the Chinese to continue buying U.S. Treasury bills. China is already the largest holder of U.S. debt and she pressed them to buy more.
I feel real good about the Chinese holding our debt load, and increasing their percentage of our future. I can't think of any nation I'd rather have buy our debt, unless it would be North Korea.
Of course that need for someone to buy even more Treasury bills comes in large part from the funds required for the stimulus plan.
To bail ourselves out of a problem of our own making we're selling our kids and grandkids to the Chinese government. Indentured servitude.
I was pleased to see that Lefty won this week's PGA tournament. Unfortunately, the Suns got stomped by the Celtics, who are also missing one of their stars, KG.
I am not watching the Oscars as I type this. I haven't seen any of those movies so I have no interest in any of them. The only suspense for me is to see if the Hollywood folk choose a dead guy over a dead gay guy.
We hit 80 here in the valley today, and because it's the weekend the roads were filled with motorcycles. Yes, it made me wonder about selling it tomorrow morning. There will be days in the spring months ahead that I'll really miss running through the twisties in the hills north of here, especially when the wildflowers bloom in a few weeks.. But my head tells me it's the right decision,. So by noon she'll be in someone else's hands.
Steve worked with Troy at Best Buy in Grand Rapids when Troy and his wife gave birth to their first child, born very prematurely.

Long day, and I'm whooped. I know, I promised to make up for last night's abbreviated post, but I keep nodding off as I type this.
