I'm wearing one glove to type this.
I don't know the maximum temperature at which one can reasonably drive a car without air conditioning, but after being out in Gerta at noon today I think we're pretty close to it at the triple digit mark.
Sir Al Fartsalot of Welk Manor and I have bonded. He waits impatiently for our morning and evening walks and for the meal I serve him after those walks. He sleeps most of the day but he does that wherever I am. Follows me from room to room, drops to the floor and zonks.
If I've been working in the office and leave the room to get something - a Diet Coke or a Diet Coke - and go back into the office...I can barely stand it.
I don't realize what he does to the air quality in a space until I leave it and return. Incredible.
But it is funny to watch a dog whirl around and stare, ears perked, at his arse with a "What was that?" look on his face.
Did you hear what happened in Iran today? Neither did I.
The market? North Korea? The moon mission? Nope. Didn't see any coverage of those, either.
I figure Ryan ONeal is pretty ticked. Preempted by a Dianna Ross look-alike.
The Arizona legislature voted down a bill that would have banned test messaging while driving. How in the world do you NOT outlaw that? What possible justification could anyone have for a No vote?
Lots to get done tomorrow. I leave Monday morning with Steve. We're driving through to Denver for the GGF convention and will drive back Friday, a 12-hour trip each way. I'll be on the bike before 7 a.m. so I'm back before we're up into triple digits again.
Which is why I'm turning in early.
Details on the Denver trip to follow.
