Pam is home, and we're about to eat dinner. Real food: salmon, mashed potatoes and ... broccoli. Things are back to normal.
The Tiger Woods story continues to offer up fascinating news tidbits. Accenture dropped him as a spokesman, while Nike chairman Phil Knight says they'll stick with him, and that time will prove this to be only a "blip." Tag Heuer, a firm that makes watches selling for more than some cars, is "evaluating" their use of Tiger as a spokesman.
One of the women claiming a relationship with Tiger, Jaime Jungers, insists she was not a paid "escort." But Michelle Braun, a retired madam, has produced a 1099 form that shows Jungers was paid $31,400 for escort "services". Braun also made available a 1099 for Holly Sampson, another woman in the Woods harem. (story here)
Did you know madams issued 1099's? What do they list as their occupation? What if they get audited?
Between outside jobs and a bad cold I got almost none of my projects planned for Pam's absence done. Gerta still needs an oil change & lube and the kitchen cabinet doors only got as far as getting the frames cut to size. Tomorrow I have a plumbing job in the morning, a conference call at noon and another plumbing job in the afternoon. I'm really hoping Mr. Murphy takes the day off. I haven't got time to deal with him.
Pam expected I'd have the Christmas decorations up when she got home. Apparently 39 years of marriage only takes you so far.
My brother sent me this video. Crazy Canucks.
