"If we play like that every week we'll gain some level of consistency." - Alex Ferguson

Bike Stand

The NHL begins post-season play tonight and will award the Stanley Cup to the winning team sometime in late August.

You may remember the dump truck driver here who ran into a group of eight motorcycles stopped at a light. Three were killed at the scene and another died later at the hospital. Today he was charged with manslaughter and several other crimes. Turns out he's a meth addict and was high when he hit them.
Manslaughter doesn't seem enough.

My workload is such that I'm not going to get Gerta back on the road before I leave for MI Monday morning. The parts should arrive in tomorrow's mail but my to-do list is too long to spend several hours on the garage floor putting things back together. Besides, something else will break in the process.

I've got stuff in my head - lots of stuff - but it's already 10 p.m. and tomorrow's list requires a clear, rested mind and body. So we'll save conversations about shut-off valves, electric windows and community until tomorrow night.
