Clever saying goes here.

Could you do this?

I know someone who sews can be called a sewer, but seamstress seems a much better choice, especially when more than one of them gathers to form a club. Unless your a mutant turtle do you really want people to know you belong to a sewer club?

US Airways must have the oldest fleet of planes in the business. Twice in the last month I’ve flown on one of their planes with ash trays in the armrests.

Yeah, but would it really make a difference? At this skill level I could be using clubs made in the 40’s out of white pine and cast iron and it wouldn’t add all that many stokes to my game.
But it does strike me as rather cruel for God to put this much competitiveness into a body without giving a person at least a modicum of coordination.

The above was written last night for a cut-and-paste. We’re at The Laughing Ladies for lunch where they have wi-fi. So I’ve copied and pasted. Now it’s time to take the last swig of Diet Coke and head over to the folks’ to set up dad’s computer and do a few other tasks. Then back to the house where I’ll do some wall repair.

The weather is beautiful now but it’s supposed to pour buckets Fri. & Sat. for the estate sale. That would put a crimp into the staging plans but we’ll cope. Other than that, no big news and no time for a more thoughtful post. Maybe soon.

Are you mocking me? I posted that my mom was a sewer on FB a few days ago. So I'm not always a wordsmith.... Sheesh.

No, I was mocking the church bulletin from Seattle (I get it each week). But if your mom is a sewer, well...I'd never mock your mom!!

I had posted it under my May 13th status about soccer, if you care to look. My Aunt Pati gently corrected me. (She went to GBC, possibly the same time you did. Does the name Pati Seastrom ring any bells?)

Yes, I remember your sister. I think she was a year, maybe two behind me. And I knew you were sisters.
Where is she now?

My Aunt Pati currently lives in CA. She's the grandmother of Sami (often the subject of my FB posts). Pati is in TX helping out right now.
