A college student left eastern Washington headed to college in Montana. He fell asleep traveling along I-90 in Montana and hit the end of the guard rail. (click if you want a bigger image)
The guard rail entered at the right headlight, passed through the engine compartment, the firewall, the glove compartment, the passenger compartment, and exited out the driver's side of the rear window.
Driving while too tired is as dangerous as DUI.A woman here in the Phoenix area glued her eye shut. She mistakenly grabbed a tube of Super Glue instead of her Rx cataract drops. By the time she realized her mistake it was too late; she couldn't open her eye. Hospital personnel were able to get her eye open. Now she's pressing the Super Glue people to put their glue in a container that can't be confused with medicine.
Alternatively, she could find someplace better than the medicine cabinet to store her Super Glue.

Also in local news, authorities recovered pieces of a man's body in three different AZ counties. His wife says she accidentally shot him in the face with a shotgun last November. She was afraid police wouldn't believe it was an accident so she took his body out into the desert. She doesn't have an explanation how he got so spread out.
Speaking of relationships gone bad, I think we can guess the rest of this story:
Uhm, maybe she dumped him because he had anger issues?Picking up on the vehicle theme:
Radio Flyer Car
This will take some time, but if you enjoy vintage photographs I don't think you can do better than this:
America in Color
Read the heading over the top of the collection.
Which is your favorite? (they're numbered)
I especially like #7 and #29. And #39 looks like a painting.
That's enough for tonight. Hope you enjoyed. See you in 24, if I've got the energy to sit.

I was mesmerized by those photos.... To see so many from that era in *color* was captivating! Seeing these in color--in real life--makes the '40's seem closer somehow. My Dad was born around the time period in which these pictures were taken. Really neat.
My favorite shots are #12 (the girls in matching dresses--my Mom sewed, and we had matching stuff), #15 (the children all passed out on the bed at the dance), and #20 (the children singing--reminds me of our little homeschool choir, only we all have shoes).
Thanks for sharing.
