If two Arakansas Razorbacks fans get divorced are they still cousins?

I've had an ADD day, and there's plenty of ti....hey, look! a squirrel!

Up at 4:15 because my brain was ready to roll. Mike & Mike starts at 3 a.m. so I missed the first hour-plus. No problem; I still got plenty of interesting chatter about the LCS's and the new NFL rules. Got some chores done at the same time.

I was at the clinic at 8:30 to do the drywall repairs and re-set a doorstop that was improperly installed in the concrete floor when they did the build-out. Easy, low-stress stuff.
I got the adhesive for the doorstop from the Ace Hardware a couple miles away. Guess what!! They're having Red Green at their store on Nov. 13!!! OK, it's not Condoleezza Rice, but he's a close second.

Home for lunch - another serving of lasagna heated in the microwave. Having learned from last night's explosion I covered this one with paper towel.
Note: Once heated, the top layer of lasagna will stick to the paper towel and peel right off when you remove the paper towel.
I'm going to be an expert at this by the time Pam gets home.

Here's a link someone posted on Facebook and I located over at YouTube. Good for a smile or three.

Spent most of the afternoon working on the sermon. Sunday we'll begin a series on the letters to the seven churches in Rev. 2-3, and so this week it will be the message to Ephesus. These verses, like many passages in the Bible, are like a tidal pool; the more you look the more you see. My natural tendency is to try to get everything I've seen into the sermon just because I find it all so good. But in preaching, less is often more. So the question is what to put in and what to leave out.

Speaking of homiletics, here's a great article with a very interesting video clip from CNN.com

FWIW, Providing the meat precedes the gravy I think it's VERY legitimate, an appropriate cultural expression.

Yankees won, but that was to be expected with Sabathia pitching. Now they go back to Texas where the Rangers will close it out.

"A close second"?! She'll *never* come to visit you if she reads that. (I do like that part of the Red Green show where he tries to guess the word.)

Wax paper. That won't stick.
