Someone said the preacher's job is to comfort the troubled and trouble the comfortable. I told them at the beginning of my class this morning my goal was to scare them, to fill them with fear.
It's easier to act your way into a new set of feelings than feel your way into a new set of actions even when those actions and the resulting feelings are all wrong.

After meeting in emergency session the Security Council of the U.N. failed to come to an agreement on a statement regarding the escalating tensions between the Koreas. That's too bad, because a statement from the Council would solve everything.
