Double negatives are a no-no.

If it snowed in Sun City....

The news coverage is all about Egypt and it certainly seems like the dominating issue on the world stage. We really are a global community and whatever happens there will have effects around the world. Gas prices are already up because of the potential affect on Suez Canal traffic and if the country goes Islamist State on us things could get troublesome in a hurry.
I glad for the confidence that God is in control.

One of the commentators talked about Egypt as "an alluring place." Do you think of Egypt as alluring? 'cause I think of it as dirty and desert. Sorry, but that's my mental image.

I've often thought about how some countries appeal as a travel destination to some but not in the least to others. I would LOVE to see China but Japan doesn't interest me at all. Can't explain that.

We're going to have unseasonably cold temps here this week, which means upper 50's to low 60's until next weekend when we'll be back to the 70's. I'm planning on going to the Phoenix Open Thursday which is to be the coldest day of the week. Oh well. I could live back in Michigan where they're looking at up to a foot of snow Tuesday night into Wednesday.
Sorry, guys.

The pregame show started this morning at 10:00 local time.

I have more ideas in my head than time and energy to pull them off. Drat!

Oh! I forgot...the lights came in the mail Saturday. Why he would send them regular USPS ground is beyond me, especially given what he wanted for shipping. But hey, they arrived.
That's the good news.
When I asked in a pre-purchase email exchange, he told me he'd give them a 3 out of 5, but only because the bracket was missing from one. Turns out not only was the bracket missing, but also the piece that it connects to. When I opened the light up I found that the wiring was also missing and the inside was all corroded.
I spent some time this afternoon using steel wool to clean it up and then MacGyvered the missing piece using lamp parts from the hardware store. I need to get some bigger spade clamps than what I have on hand to replace the wiring, but I'll get them tomorrow and then get them attached to the rear bumper. Pics if it all works.

I was too pooped to post last night and the cold I'm fighting sent me to bed early. The sermon went OK (I'd give it a 3 out of 5 because the third point was missing a key reference) but we had fun second hour. We're working through the 10 Commandments and yesterday was #4 - keeping the Sabbath. I think most people TOTALLY misunderstand and/or misinterpret what that commandment means and what, if any, application it has today. We worked through the commandment itself and the relevant passages elsewhere in the Bible and come up with some pretty clear, and perhaps surprising conclusions. And we did it all while playing "The Closer."
Wish you could have been there.
