The world contains some evil people who delight in causing grief and misery wherever possible. Numbered among them is the guy who invented that sticker the oil change people put in the upper corner of your windshield.
Trust me, your time is coming.
It's close enough that I need the lower portion of my bifocals to read it. It's high enough that I can't tilt my head that far back because of the headrest. I could put the seat back, but then I'd be far enough away that I'd need the upper part of the lens...and the print is too small to read from that distance.
I have no idea when I'm due for the next oil change.
I've been watching developments in Egypt and that situation is strange. One day the demonstrations are almost like a party and the next it's hand to hand combat. The next day it's back to peaceful. Meanwhile, the govt. arrests and detains Western reporters for fomenting rebellion. The experts say no more than 10% of the people align themselves with the Muslim Brotherhood and there's no danger Egypt will turn into an Islamist state.
Fascinating stuff if you're a news and politics junkie.
My dad was hospitalized last night with heart trouble. It's hard to get up to the minute info from this far away but they're talking about a pacemaker. I'll try to talk to him later tonight.

Just got off the phone. Dad had a pacemaker put in late this afternoon and is now back in his hospital room for the night. He'll probably go home tomorrow. We're eager to see what difference this makes. Maybe his weakness and fatigue over the last several months was due to an under-performing ticker and he'll be feeling like 86 all over again.
Bible study and lesson prep is a little like cleaning out a closet. You see something that should go on the middle shelf in the garage, and when you get out there you see something in the way that should go in the storage shed and....
I spent the morning traveling rabbit trails all through the OT. Because I had the time, I ran them eagerly. Ask me about mooth, and ratsach, and execution and animal sacrifices and...

I'm praying for your Dad (and Mom).
So...what's mooth?
Thanks, Jen. My mom called late last night to say she had just talked to him on the phone and he sounded great. We hope he comes home today.
Mooth is a transliteration of a Hebrew word, as is ratsach. I could tell you now, but then you wouldn't come to our adult class on the 13th.
Okay...don't start without me!
I'm thankful your Dad is doing well.
