Thomas Aquinas - the original deep fat friar.

Regardless of the product itself, the music for that Detroit/Chrysler commercial is really cool.

So is this video!
Elk Fighting in Yellowstone

I hooked everything up, with the projector on the stand halfway down the hall about the same distance as it will be from the screen on Sunday. But I can’t stand as far away as the people in the cafeteria so it’s hard to tell if the image/font size is big enough. The other problem came as soon as I connected the VGA cable to the projector and then my MacBook Pro. Suddenly the resolution setting on my computer changed so that only half of what should have been visible on the screen could be seen. I went into “System Preferences” and reset it, but I don’t know if I did that correctly. Anybody out there have experience with this?? And can that resolution setting be used to increase the image size on the screen?

I saw a new word the other day” mancation. A take-off on stay-cation it suggests the kind of vacation a male would take if he could write his own script. A chick-cation would probably involve long periods of laying on a beach interrupted by leisurely strolls through high-end shops and boutiques. So, gentlemen, what would your mancation look like? Mine would involve fast cars, probably in the form of a driving school. A real driving school, not that "go fast, turn left" stuff of NASCAR. And time spent in a remote area of an underdeveloped country like those in central Africa or in a rural area of China. Maybe on a bicycle.

I need a coffee shop. A quiet place with a good latte where I can center down on Sunday stuff. Too many distractions this week what with getting the projection system together, the slides made and the normal tasks done (some of which should have been done by now).

Special challenges in both services this week.

So I'm gonna keep this short and get back to work.

My man-cation a few weeks ago was twelve days at Capamento-Del-Caribe in Juana Diaz,Peurto Rico, putting ceramic tile in all 24 showers at the kids camp there. This camp is one of the mission stations that is under Grace Missions.
