They weren't chosen for the royal wedding party.
We went out to Lyle & Shirley's today and came home with more plants for our pond. Here's what they look like now...The lily is obvious. No buds yet but each of the five pots is putting off lots of leaves, each bigger than its predecessors. The new plants are all floaters (no pots) and include water hyacinths (1), water lettuce (2) and frogbit (3, the little dots in the water). The frogbit will spread into a mat and get tiny white blossoms. The water lettuce is just greenery, no flowers. And the water hyacinth will eventually look like this:
I'm getting impatient for everything to bloom. The roses are doing great - lots of flowers - but we're getting to the temp range when they'll stop flowering. So my plan of water lily blossoms in front and roses behind ain't gonna happen. Oh well.
We also held their new kids - baby goats born two days ago. I should have taken my camera; they're adorable. Baby goats are surprisingly cuddly.
I've pretty much settled on Safari as my browser. Plusses and minuses. I like the "Top Sites" pane. Eye candy, but I've now got it customized so it shows the sites I go to most often and which sites have changed content since I last viewed them. I don't think Safari is as fast as Firefox but I think it does a better job of blocking pop-ups. When I'd close FF I'd typically find up to four mini-pages open underneath advertising all kinds of junk. I rarely get any of those sites now, and they open as a new tab in the main window so they're easier to detect and close.
He texts: "You're cute. Wanna go out?"
She responds: "I have a boyfriend."
He: "I have a math test tomorrow."
She: "What's that got to do with anything?"
He: "I was thinking of something we could both cheat on."
The President is going to NYC tomorrow to lay a wreath at the site of the twin towers. I'm fine with that, but I don't understand why tomorrow. It's Cinco de Mayo, but unless I missed something that isn't about Muslim extremists or New York.
Just curious - was this planned before they found Bin Laden?

Hi Craig, I'm thinking about using your book Understanding Your Bible for a group study up here in Prescott. I'd love to talk to you about it.
Thanks,
