The cops don't use DNA to solve crimes in Arkansas. It all matches.

It's cute animals picture night.

My dad's in the hospital and I'm bothered by being too far away to be of any help to either of them. The dr. was concerned about dad's persistent chest pain so ordered an angiogram. But he wanted to do it in the hospital so they could immediately correct any issues. They did in fact find an 11-year old stent that was completely clogged and replaced it. They want to check for additional problems in another location and will do that either tomorrow if his kidneys have processed the dye or Friday if necessary. My older brother drove over to help with transportation but has to return to Spokane tonight and my younger brother leaves on a business trip tomorrow afternoon (I think).

I'm thankful for faithful and gracious friends at their church who will come to their aid but it's hard not to feel like a shirker or something.

I went to the dentist this afternoon and spent 50 minutes past my appointment time before being called back. A dental assistant (?) took x-rays and said it would take 10 minutes to develop them. Those were football minutes. Twenty clock minutes the dentist returned to look at my teeth.

We go to this office because it's close and part of our insurance network. Over the three or four years we've gone there they have seriously screwed up billings several times. The office side of the operation is poorly run, but we liked Dr. Del Snyder. Alas, he has moved to their Scottsdale office and the dentist whom I met today is the anti-Del Snyder. Obnoxious jerk.
I think we'll be looking for a new provider.
He couldn't find any problem, and yes, he asked if I've been flossing.

The people are the very best part!

The Mavs are still a long shot, but they've definitely got a shot.

I'll write it tomorrow but the sermon is set in my head, and I'm exercised about it. Some sermons require taking challenging content (either by virtue of its volume or complexity or both) and making it easily grasped. Those are my favorite because they challenge me to do my best work.
