Isn't this just speshul!
Started an interesting book today. It falls under the category of secondary research but it will be a nice supplement to my textual work.
I also read the issue of Imprimis that arrived in today's mail. That's the free publication of Hillsdale College and it almost always consists primarily of the text of a speech delivered at one of their functions. This one had a talk given to a group of Hillsdale supporters on a Mediterranean cruise by Vaclav Klaus, the President of the Czech Republic. Very interesting! He's pretty critical of the European Union and its single currency. He argues that Europe is lazy, self-indulgent and permissive. Other than that he's a big fan.
It reminded me of a statement Britain's Prime Minister, David Cameron made in the days after the riots. He said English society suffered from a "moral collapse."
Is it coincidental that the evangelical church is almost dead in Europe? Only 7% of Brits attend church, the 4th lowest rate in Europe.
I cleaned the floor on the other side of the garage, except for under the middle of the chassis. Too hard to reach and it's not like I'm going to be standing there.
I came in the house at 8:30 because it was already 98 degrees out there.
"Is that a snake in your pants or are you glad to see me?"
Actually, it was several snakes.
This guy in Mesa, on the SE side of town, walks into a pet store and steals several rare snakes by stuffing them in his pants and walking out.
There are way too many cheap and easy lines here and I'm going to pass on all of them.
I went to the gym this afternoon and did one of the workouts Josh created for me.
I am a girl.
If I go every day and try really hard I may elevate my fitness level to "5th grade boy."
Which means I'm too tired for creative thinking - for any thinking. Accordingly, I grace you with an extra pic to end this post.

That lead picture reminds me of my brother and his family when his wife made matching green polo shirts for everyone when my daughter & I joined them for a trip to Disneyland.
You're trying to get somebody in trouble, aren't you.
Oh my gosh that last picture is just too funny!
Uncle Mark - I thought of those same shirts when I saw this picture
My Mom *made* us matching swimming suits one year--for all seven of us. I think I felt the worst for my Dad.
Oh Jenny. Your poor dad. Clearly he was a saint.
