Can this be anything other than the video in sex-ed class?
Our family went to Carl's Jr. for lunch after church, as is routine. It's also routine for me to get the BIGGEST drink they have, fill it with Diet Coke, drink it all and refill it before I leave. As I was headed over to refill it I noticed it was a "Collector's Edition" cup.
This afternoon I noticed that the case of Diet Coke cans Pam bought this week is labeled "Collector's Edition cans."
Does anybody keep these? I mean, except for the people who show up on "Hoarders."
A friend who blogs named me as recipient of "The Liebster Blog" award. Apparently if you receive it you're supposed to then name five bloggers whose posts you read and enjoy.
Uhm...it's not that I'm not grateful. I don't think I've ever won an award. But isn't this basically the same as a chain letter/pyramid scheme? If it works as outlined every blogger in the world will eventually get it.
I know! I should just send it back to Sue and we can bounce this sucker back and forth for the rest of the century.
Pam reminded me it was five years ago today that we pulled out of our driveway at 3494 Perry in Hudsonville, MI and began the drive across country to start from scratch in Phoenix. Things certainly didn't turn out like we planned but that's OK because God had a much better plan.
Pathway grew by one last night. Lots of work for the new mom but lots of fun for all of us.
Sunday night and the football game is almost over. That makes it bedtime. Pam got called a few hours ago to work a shift tomorrow so I'll try to get lots of stuff done around here. Time to go rest up!

I think it should read, "A simile is like a metaphor." If I remember right a simile has the word 'like' or 'as' in it.
