A month ago he told me the body would be done by the end of October but at this point that ain't gonna happen, either. Which is too bad because I have done almost everything I can without the body. I may be at a standstill for a month or more. What am I going to do with myself??

How does one define a cult? That turns out to be an interesting and relevant question these days, given the current Republican field. Some online dictionaries list several definitions, none of which have any negative connotation. Others have definitions that include words like "spurious" or "extremist." Dr. Walter Martin (d. 1989) was generally recognized as a biblical scholar and wrote the well-known book "Kingdom of the Cults" which identified Mormonism as a cult - along with Jehovah Witnesses, Scientology and others.

Is a cult defined by heretical theology? Doe is require devious psychological manipulation? A controlling leader who demands complete submission?
Is Mormonism a cult?
