I needed a Therapy Monday and I got it. Great day. After an hour or so pruning one of the trees out front - more to do when the trash cans get emptied tomorrow - I went to work in the garage. I spent the morning working on a '62 VW Beetle and the afternoon wrenching on a '66 Rambler. Does it get any better?!
I started installing some of the pieces I took out of Ilsa in preparation for painting and got the dash pretty much done. I don't have the glovebox door back yet, so that remains. As does the wiper switch. The change from 6v to 12v requires a new armature for the motor so I'll wait to install the switch until I get that.
At noon the mail delivery brought the radiator hoses and ignition wires for the Rambler from Rock Auto. I got them installed, as well as the new coil. All that remains under the hood is rebuilding the carb.
I told Pam, I sure hope this thing starts when the time comes.
Be ready! It's coming Saturday. It's The Super Moon.
I owned a BMW motorcycle for about four years. Never had any problem.
Car ownership in China is exploding. Someone there buys a car every 2.3 seconds.
They're still working on the driving part. [Disclaimer: pretty gruesome in spots. See comment below]
It's that time of year here when you turn on the cold water and wait for it not to be hot.
The people are the best part, and yesterday demonstrated that in spades.

You should consider a disclaimer with a video like the China drivers. It's quite disturbing to see such real footage of people in horrific deaths.
