Save time... see it my way.
Maria Sharapova won the ladies half of the French Open. In fact it was a bit of a blowout, but her opponent was a relative unknown who had never played in a major before and has to be pleased she made it to the final. Maria is engaged to Sasha Vujacic, a former NBA player now playing in Turkey. At 6'2" she needs a basketball player husband.
Over the last two days I've worked on the Rambler's wheels. First step: use the wire brush wheel on my drill and get all the loose paint off. The original color is a darker green than the car but as you can see they're badly chipped, with factory primer showing through.
Second step: prime them with four coats of Krylon gray primer.
Third step: four coats of Crescent Green, the same color as the body. I only used two of the four aerosol cans I had made up from the quart of paint that came with the car and I haven't decided what to do with the other two. I may use it to paint the underside of the hood. This is acrylic enamel and should really be mixed with a catalyst, but that takes equipment I don't have and adds expense. This will serve just fine for a 20/20 car (looks got at 20' at 20 mph).
Tomorrow morning I'll be back at Pathway, and it feels like I've been gone for a month, not one Sunday. Today the headache has been worse and I've felt lightheaded, but that WILL be gone tomorrow morning.
For now I'll take some time and go over the music and my slide presentation for the morning's services.
G'night.
