Friendly reminder that Adele and Taylor Swift are the same age yet one of them has a child and the other is mentally stuck in middle school.

Two feet of snow in Seattle.

I feel like I should apologize for our weather because of what others are getting. Snow in Seattle and more brutal cold and snow in Grand Rapids. We'll be in the upper 70's the first part of this week and the low 80's by Thursday.

Marriage is a states' rights issue. U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder announced this weekend (off news cycle) that the feds will grand full recognition to same-sex couples regardless of what state they're from. Does that strike anyone else as wrong?

This afternoon Josh came out and helped me get the truck off the trailer and into the garage. That was a little tricky and required pretty careful planning lest the truck come barrelling down the ramps and do serious damage to the garage opening or wall at the bottom. I'll do a little jockeying tomorrow to move it a tad to the left, but it's in the garage, the trailer is returned.
There it sits, this great big truck, next to an itty bitty VW.
The beauty and the beast.
But tell me, isn't that one of the most beautiful pictures you can imagine?! Three vehicles, and the youngest one is 49 years old!
I am one blest guy.

I'm finding myself much less nationalistic that I've been watching previous Olympics. I don't know if that's because I'm older, more broad-minded, more cynical, or....

It's gonna be a crazy week with a lot of extra stuff on my plate. This orientation course for teaching online is supposed to take 10-15 hours and so far is requiring significantly more than that. Add in some other unusual to-do items and I will have to work very efficiently to get it all done with any kind of quality. It's probably a good thing I'm not really into the Olympics.
