"Happiness begins where selfishness ends." - John Wooden

Tires

Crazy day.
In no particular order, chronological or otherwise:
I had relisted the VW in eBay and the auction ended today. I really thought I'd have a bevy of last minute bidders based on the number of people sending me questions about the car but they all disappeared at the end. It SOLD for my entry bid amount. So I didn't lose money but I don't think I made much more than a nickel, either.
The interesting thing about the deal is that the buyer lives in the United Arab Emirates. We've talked on the phone, I'm convinced he's legit (and knows classic VW's), and have no particular concerns about the transaction. The UAE is just a little east of Manhattan.

I booked our campsites for the July vacation. Three OR state parks, one inland and two on the coast. I'm eager to go camping! We haven't been to Silver Falls State Park since the boys were young and remember it as a beautiful place to hike. Pam's new knees and new level of fitness means we can take advantage of those trails.

I'm feeling stymied with the truck. I need to order a few parts before I can go too much further but don't know exactly what to order. Should I reuse these shackles or purchase new? Lots of other decisions like that, and I just need to plow ahead.

I think I have a handle on our Easter service. We're going to hold it on the lawn in front of the school and set up chairs from the gym storage room. We've done quite a bit of publicity in the large subdivision where the school is located, so we don't know if we'll have 30 guests or 300. He knows. And we'll be thankful for whatever he sends.
