"Progress might have been alright once, but it has gone on too long." - Ogden Nash

As a result of the VW transaction I learned the term MENA. It's an acrostic for Middle East North Africa, and is used in commerce and politics to refer to that geographical block of countries. So, Emarat Shipping advertises that they serve MENA.
Always something to learn.

Like, don't get Eastwood's "Rubberized Rust Encapsulator" in your hair.
It's a long story.

The coffee maker died this morning. Pam doesn't drink coffee and I don't want to work that hard, so we had a cheap Mr. Coffee that lasted about a year. Not going to serve up a gourmet cup o' joe, but I'm not a coffee connoisseur so it doesn't really matter. It should be hot, it should taste like coffee, and it should be black. It should also be available every morning from that thing over in the corner of the counter.

And when that thing dies it will be replaced quickly with the cheapest option Walmart has to offer, in this case a Black and Decker for $15. It won't have the coffee brewed and waiting for me when I get up, but I never used that feature when I had it. This makes coffee.

The transmission guy didn't call, but Dave from Dunbar Spring did. I'm hoping I can go get both on Monday.

I've only got personal observation to back me up but I'm ready to declare that drivers of BMW's are collectively the rudest on the road. Sedan, couple, SUV - they are all in a great rush and think the 20' they gain by cutting in and out of a small gap will dramatically improve their quality of life. My guess is they have words for the guy driving the Falcon wagon at a relaxed, deliberate pace.

A formal study was done and driver of BMWs were, indeed, found to be the rudest.
