"You grow up the day you have the first good laugh at yourself." - Ethel Barrymore

Dead bunny in the lily pond.
Parents, teach your children to swim!

The guy down on the corner stopped by last night to ask if I had a business card for the car restoration shop I'm running.
Smart Alec.

The national media is slowly learning that it's not Press-SCOTT, but PRESS-cut.
Next they can move from or-e-GONE to OR-e-gun.

Sometimes it seems like there's way too much bad stuff out there.
We know three people imprisoned by addiction to alcohol.
Two young mothers, both coincidentally named Rachel, battling uterine cancer.
Two families falling apart because a parent embarked on a course of total selfishness, choosing infidelity over their spouse and children.
Sadness.

On the other side, a young little boy recovering from very extensive cranial surgery. Thankfully, the doctors did an incredible job and the results are nothing short of amazing.

I read an article today by some media guru who said we shouldn't expect Brian Williams back, even six months from now. He's been humiliated, the position depends on trustworthiness, and he will forever wear the label of liar. NBC has too many better options.

We're in a black hole of sports action. Football is done, the NBA is unwatchable, F1 and tennis are still months away, and curling doesn't get the coverage we need.
Golf is good when you need a nap, but other than Sunday afternoon it feels like a waste of time.
Another reason for spring to hurry up.
