I won't be impressed with technology until I can download BACON.
It's Sunday night all over my body.
A particular complex and busy Sunday morning has me exhausted inside and out. Consider that a caveat for anything that follows.
I worked in the rose garden yesterday. Here's a shot of one end of it. Changing the watering system seems to have made the difference, and my goal is to maintain this production throughout the season. Sure smells good out there.
I've been procrastinating on the truck's wiring system. I am comfortable with house electrical systems, but something about automotive systems intimidates me. And they're so stinkin' hard to diagnose if something doesn't work. But I need to get started on that part of the project, so tomorrow's the day. It's pretty much the only thing standing between me and getting the engine fired up for the first time.
I'm surprised Hillary's erasure of all the emails on her server isn't getting more attention in the national press, especially given the timing of her action.
No, I don't think the lack of coverage is because of some left wing conspiracy. The media is a business, and I'm convinced that in their heart of hearts they care most about profits; the news that sells is the news that gets covered. Yes, their are outlets catering to liberal consumers, as there are those who play to the right. But I think (!) outlets like CBS, or USA Today, or Political are trying to cater to the largest audience possible so as to generate the largest profits possible. Call me naive, but while I often think news coverage leaves something to be desired I'm not one who sees a media conspiracy behind every news story.
Maybe that's a good discussion question. Does the media's coverage control American opinions or do America's opinions control media coverage?
Probably a combination of both, eh?
