When they say "2% milk" what's the other 98%?

I saw an ad for SAP that said, "It's not easy running a business. You have problems. You will call them challenges, but they're problems. To fix them you'll institute procedures, and the procedures will become problems."
Pretty accurate description of life.

Pam did come home last night, and I'm on the mend. Still weak from my body going rogue, but no more symptoms. Isn't it weird how totally sapped of strength you get from 36 hours of physical chaos?
I heard a dr. on TV say we should be in awe of the puking process, that it's a marvel of nature. Everything in the digestive track is designed as a one-way street, with peristaltic action making sure things move smoothly from top to bottom and one-way valves along the line. But when the body senses a foreign agent somewhere it throws everything into reverse to expel the bad guy.
OK, I'll respect the wonder of the process, but it's still misery.

That line on the can of chicken noodle soup that says you should put it in a microwaveable bowl and cover it...? Believe that last part.

The fight in Indiana, and now in Arkansas, shows just how powerful money is. Let the business interests say they'll take their dollars elsewhere and principle takes a back seat to profits.

That's what I've got, folks. The brain is as dull as the body, and what limited function it had today was devoted to Sunday prep. Tomorrow I plan to actually leave the house at some point - need a haircut - so maybe I'll have the kind of witty reflection that only a trip to Super Cuts can provide.
