"'Be yourself' is about the worst advice you can give to some people." - J.B. Priestley

Has anyone else noticed how much the flag of South Africa looks like the Amtrak logo?

I needed a day off electrical so I worked on the steering wheel for awhile this morning. I got the rough grinding and sanding done and now just have to do three successive grits of finish sanding before painting.

In case you've wondered, if you're using your Dremel with a grinding attachment and get it too close to your nylon running shorts it will very, very quickly eat up the leg of those shorts and then go after your leg. And there's no pulling it away because it's wrapped up in those shorts. Yes, you could just turn it off, but it's surprising - and a bit disappointing - how long it takes for that to occur to you.

If you could watch any one of today's sports events, but only one, and there were not cost attached, which would you choose: Stanley Cup hockey, NBA playoffs, the Kentucky Derby, or the Pacquiao/Mayweather fight? And if you had to predict the winner for one of those events or pay $100 for getting it wrong, which would you predict?

OK, this post is much shorter than typical, but not because there isn't stuff in my head. It's spinning. I can tell you all about it tomorrow evening, or Monday if I'm not fully conscious until then.
