Teamwork is essential. It allows you to blame someone else.
I self-medicated this morning. Four pieces of BACON with my eggs instead of the usual three.
The cinnamon roll at Paradise Bakery was just unashamed decadence.
I've hit a serious snag. The guy at Classic Parts tells me the aftermarket wiper switch I got from them doesn't work with the '59 wiper motor, which explains why I couldn't figure out how to wire it up. I got a return authorization number so I'll get a refund on that $18 part, but that won't get the wipers working, something that might be kinda important in Oregon. I've scoured the internet and can't find anyone selling that switch, and don't have any idea what to do next. Hmmmm. I've placed a notice in the "Parts Wanted" section of the forum, so maybe that will turn up somebody with one to sell.
Our printer hasn't been working lately, turning out blotchy, half-inked pages that have finally gotten unreadable. I'd used rubbing alcohol on Q-tips to clean the screens where the cartridges sit but that didn't do the trick. I really did NOT want to spend the $$ on a new printer so I got brave and disassembled the print head this afternoon. A dozen alcohol-soaked swabs later I had some pretty yucky gunk removed and from the underside of the print head and the assembly successfully reinstalled. Voila'! Now I have to buy some new cartridges because of the number of times I tried the "Clean print head" on the settings menu. That process uses up a lot of ink.
We hit 75 as our high today, 17 degrees below normal.
Wonderful!
Five sermons and three lessons left. What to preach & teach?
Holland, MI finished third on a list of best cities in the country for families. One of the factors getting them that ranking was the low crime rate due, in part, to the fact that for six months of every year the city is under 6' of snow.
Nothing else to report. Spent the morning working on Sunday stuff, the afternoon in the garage and the gym, and will spend this evening hunting for something to EAT.

Mike, alas, those are turn signal switches and mine is OK. What I need is wiper.
Haha. That's what I get for reading when I'm exhausted. Have you tried JC Whitney?
How about this?

Hmmm. I only have two wires going to the switch and this has five terminals, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't work. I'm going to post this to the Chevy truck forum to see what they say.
thanks!
