"It's easier to resist at the beginning than at the end." - Leonardo da Vinci
I can't print because our printer is connected to our laptops via our wifi. I'm going to look when I get home from Starbucks where I am now to see if I can hook up to it with a cable that I (hopefully) have among the dozens I've saved over the years for no good reason.
I worked at the coffee shop in Veneta most of the morning, went home for lunch, and then came into the Starbucks we use on Sunday mornings to work while Pam does the grocery shopping. My brain is slowly withering, which is why I'm taking a break every 20 minutes or so to write a paragraph here.
Yeah, you're getting the work of a withered brain.
I use commas too often and in places where they don't belong.
I'm working through one of my editor's most recent sections (they're sending chapters to me as they complete the editing) and the floor is littered with discarded commas. The cleanup crew at this Starbucks is going to wonder who had comma diarrhea.
Pam's done getting groceries, joined me here to do some internet browsing, and has just about finished her hot tea. It's now time to get home before dark so goats can be fed and closed up for the night.
Back at it tomorrow.
Sorry for the brief post, but that's life until we get our internet back. Do we think the Hughes guy is going to call me back at 7 a.m. tomorrow like he promised?
Uhm...no.
I'll let you know.
