It didn't feel like that much when I was doing it but today the track workout has my whole body feeling like death.
Isn't it crazy that in order to be healthy and fit we have to put our bodies through this much pain and agony?

One of the news sites I visit is BBC.com. I like getting their take on major U.S. news stories.
They had a blurb about streaming certain BBC shows including the entire first season of Killing Eve. Turns out we did see all the episodes. What we thought was an abrupt ending was the cliff hanger.

I've been reading about using an egg wash with pie crusts. I learned you get different effects using the egg white, the egg yolk, both white and yolk (whisked), adding salt, and adding (more) water.
Who knew?

We only got to the mid-70s today after 11 straight days in the 90s. This is wonderful.

Both sons are preaching in their respective churches in September.

Maybe you read that President Trump may increase the tariffs on Chinese specific goods from 10% to 25%. I heard why on NPR this morning.
When he hit them with that 10% tariff they devalued their currency, the Yuan, by 10%, thus wiping out the tariffs. So now there are effectively no tariffs on Chinese goods relative to the cost of those goods prior to the imposition of the 10%.

One of the guys who owns the gym (with his two daughters) is my age and also a car guy. His daily driver is a new Dodge pickup 3/4 ton, 4-wheel drive. His second truck is the Dodge SRT that has the V10 engine they put in the Viper. Then he has a new Dodge Charger SRT with 485 horsepower. Add a jet boat, a Harley (no accounting for taste), and a side-by-side.
Nice guy and fun to visit with. But he was WAY over his limit of cool toys.

As I type this we're watching the only thing we could find worth watching - an old episode of Hogan's Heroes. There is no way they could do this kind of stuff on TV now. It is SO politically incorrect.
And kinda cute.
