"You can learn many things from children. How much patience you have, for example." - Franklin P. Jones
When the company was reviewing passwords on company computers they discovered a blonde in accounting who was using "MickeyMinniePlutoHueyLouieDeweyDonaldGoofy. When asked why the response was, "They told me my password had to have seven characters."
I got a letter from the Oregon version of the IRS. Despite being told that OR would accept the eFile software I used the state wants photocopies of everything from our drivers licenses, to our W-2's, to the title of the '62 Karman Ghia we owned back in the '70s. If we don't pony up we don't get our refund. "And do it by May 20!"
Huh??
With the exception of the Ghia title (I was kidding about that) those are all docs they issued and have on file and/or can be accessed by them online.
Is it just me or do an increasing number of headlines that appear on online news sites have to do with the domestic issues of celebrities? I'm clueless who they are, but I'm old and don't go to movies.
That I don't go to movies baffles the young adults I work with. How can anyone not have seen the series of super hero flics??
I ended up working outside this afternoon. It rained overnight but was just cloudy today. This time of year if it's not raining, full advantage should be made of the occasion.
I put more cedar chips down and still have two or three cubic yards left over. If you want them, come get them.
The only thing left to do is climb up on a ladder and use my chain saw to cut the top of those poles off at a 45 degree angle so they shed water. They're pressure treated but that doesn't penetrate to the center and I'm told this will make them last longer.
You can't see the deer netting between the poles because it's black but I'm hopeful it will do the trick. What you can see in this pic to the right is a stump from one of the smaller of the trees we had taken out two years ago.
While I was meeting with Levy (LEH-vee) this morning his brother called. From Kenya. It still amazes me that someone can now call from the other side of the world and it doesn't really cost anything.
I don't understand the thinking behind demanding an unredacted version of the Mueller report. Federal law requires that certain categories of material be withheld from any public document, so the demand asks the Attorney General to break the law.
If the tables were turned and the object of the report were a Dem would the demand be the same?
Two posts in one day. Does that make up for missing posts this week?
I didn't think so.
