"The wages of sin are death, but by the time taxes are taken out, it's just sort of a tired feeling." - Paula Poundstone

I read that the drought in Texas killed 300 million trees.
I've been to Texas. There aren't that many trees in the entire state.

Pam gets home tomorrow!

Pretty impressive.
But how do you get good at this stuff?
Then again, maybe this represents the 2% that didn't kill themselves in the process.

Headline on NBCNews.com: "Gray Wolf Pack in Wash. State Will Be Shot Dead"
Uhm...as opposed to shot to just inflict flesh wounds?

Pam gets home tomorrow!!!

I'm 3 and 0 in my fantasy football league. Three other guys have the same record but I'm in first place by virtue of point totals. It was pretty close this last week because I needed 17 points going into last night's game in order to win my matchup. I got 20 points. I had the Green Bay QB, one of their running backs and their defense.
Which is to say I watched the entire game because its outcome affected my fantasy team.
They say the owners aren't motivated to settle the lockout with the regular refs because so far they aren't losing any money with the replacement refs, now matter how horrible they are. Money talks and they aren't getting hit in their pocketbooks.
Doesn't customer good will count for anything? Don't they care that Americans want them strung up by their thumbs?

Pam gets home tomorrow!!!!

I know this is a really short post but I have lots of chores to get done before PAM GETS HOME (TOMORROW). Most of the house is clean - really clean - as part of my fly killing efforts but I want to get a few extra tasks done. So I'll reheat the leftover frozen pizza while I watch the news and then get to work.
