Syracuse
I'm not a happy camper.
I spent most of the morning up at Paradise Bakery working on my sermon. By 11:00 I was under the Rambler wrestling with a gas tank. Getting it out was hard, but I soon realized that during that part of the process I had gravity on my side. Ugh! What a wrestling match. But by 2:30 I had the tank back in, the lines and gauge wires reconnected and...
a running car!
So I called Bill, the guy who said he wanted to buy the car, and left a voice mail. Four hours and several phone calls later I haven't heard back from him. We agreed I'd call today when the tank cleaning process was completed, so he knew he'd be hearing from me.
If he went home and had pre-buyer's remorse, no problem. Just say so. But don't weenie out and hide like a 6-year old. I busted my rear end to get this done so he could have the car this afternoon (and I could have my money), so yes, I'm ticked.
It was a perfect day for a bike ride - upper 70's and lots of sun. Alas, I can't ride my bike until next MARCH! That has me in a great mood, too.
So, I'm going to watch some mindless TV and eat too much desert.
And if I don't get a phone call tonight I'll re-list it on Craig's List tomorrow.
