"Life's a tough proposition, and the first hundred years are the hardest." - Wilson Mizner

Busy/good times in Seattle. The people are the best part.

This evening was the b'day dinner for my mom's 90th, which is actually next Monday. We went to Arnie's, an outstanding restaurant in Edmonds with food that matches the view. Then back to Mark & Mimi's for dessert. Mimi does dessert like most 5-star restaurant do a meal, from the table to the food. Yikes.
We're not in Kansas, or in Sun City anymore.

We can tell we're not in Sun City because it's FREEZING here. Some of the rooftops had snow on them this morning. We realize how thoroughly we've shifted from Michigan winters when temps in the 30's feel like the North Pole.

I've been out of the news/sports loop since arriving just because we've been off line and away from coverage. In a quick check of key websites I see that the Jets still stink, Tebow is the big non-story, gun control is a legit topic of discussion in key circles, and a budget deal just might get done.

I'd write more but it's already almost two hours past my bedtime and my brain has gone nighty-night.
Just wanted you to know we're alive and well.
More anon.
