I know I'm not perfect, but I'm so close it's scary.
My body hurts. I didn't get to the gym yesterday because of a meeting and decided to make up for it with a more vigorous workout this afternoon. At the moment that doesn't seem like it was a real good idea.
The show "60 Minutes" has come out with a "60 Minutes Sports" show that looks like it will be very good. It debuts this week - on Showtime. To quote Nancy Kerrigan, "Why?" (said in a wailing voice, for those of you who weren't there)
Why would they put that show on a premium channel where most of us can't watch it?
It's not unusual to see For Sale signs going up in our neighborhood. Old people die and their kids are left to sell the house. Four of the houses between here and the stop sign a mile down the street are currently on the market but that number fluctuates. Usually goes up because it's not easy to sell a house here. You have to be 55 or older and want to live in a community where the average age is 83.
A lot of the signs have the smaller signs that hang underneath with enticing phrases to grab the attention of potential buyers. In my weaker moments I want to replace those.
"I'm hideous inside!"
"Priced to stay on the market forever"
"View of your overweight neighbor in a Speedo"
Both the NBC and CBS evening news had stories tonight on the unusually warm temps in the U.S. in 2012. Climate change could endanger the whales and elephant seals off the CA coast.
No mention was made of the news China has seen record lows for 2012.
I have more stuff rattling around in my brain and some car news on the horizon, but not tonight. Pam will be home from work soon, we'll watch NCIS together while we have some hot chocolate, and then I'm taking this old, tired body to bed.
