We have a window shade in the bedroom that doesn't want to stay down. It normally takes up to 6 tries before it catches. Last night it let go...at 2:30 a.m. I think that's what they call a rude awakening.
I went down to Fred this morning and got nothing when I turned on the lights. Nothing. I climbed up on the step ladder and twisted one of the units, which brought results until I let go of it.
I took the whole thing down and returned it to Lowe's, which was a lot of fun in itself. Then I went around the corner to Home Depot and bought another system which I'll install tomorrow afternoon.
If I hadn't rec'd part of my refund on a gift card I'm not sure I'd go back to Lowe's again.
Bob Dylan is coming to Eugene June 7. If I had money to blow I'd be tempted to buy two tickets. It's not that I'm a huge fan, but he's unique, a legend, and maybe he'd do "Gotta Serve Somebody."
I've been watching Grantchester on PBS, the current Masterpiece Mystery series. I'm hooked. I watched most of the first season last year and now and in deep enough that I record it so I don't miss an episode.
There's something about British dramas that get me hooked.
80 degrees tomorrow and 79 on Monday. I'm loving it. This place is especially beautiful when the sun comes through the fir trees.
I got Pam a present today that I'm pretty sure she'll like. It's the oscillating kind and is fully adjustable, so it should do a good job keeping her veggies growing through the summer.
There's more, but it's gonna have to wait. I'm having trouble staying awake.
