"Since a politician never believes what he says, he's always quite surprised to be taken at his word." - Charles De Gaulle

It's not that I don't have stuff to write about, I just don't have the energy to write it.

I was outside at 6:30 a.m., hauling rounds up to the pile. At 8 a.m. I was at U-Haul picking up a trailer to go shopping. Home by 11:00 and unloaded 20 treated 4x4's, 21 T-stakes, a 330' roll of goat fencing, and some misc. clips and such.

At lunch early because I was STARVING, then back out to haul more rounds up to the pile. That's real work. Some of those things are really heavy. So by 2:30 I was too pooped to continue.

Instead I went to work on the goat pen, marking the four corners and staking them so I'm ready to dig the post holes.

No, I didn't go for a run today. It was supposed to be a track day, working on speed, but I'm not sure I would have finished the first lap.

Tomorrow I'll go back to cutting with the chainsaw. I've got another pile of logs to cut into rounds and haul up to the ever-growing pile.
Then it all has to be split, and for that I'll get a hydraulic log splitter.

Todd stopped by. He's got a bobcat and will come in a week or two with more gravel to repair the path to Fred and mi guillanero, and rake the areas that got chewed up with the logging equipment.

Sorry. That's all I've got the energy for tonight. Maybe tomorrow night I can tell you about the pot industry in OR (coming soon to a state near you), the developments at the church we've been attending, and our camping trip with Bruce & Debby next week, which is going to be F U N!

Right now, a cup of coffee, some peach dessert Pam made (that's very good), and bed.
