"Privilege is the greatest enemy of right." - Marie von Ebner-Eschenbach

Did I post this pic already? If so, sorry, but it's funny enough to reuse.

Six hours of driving through pouring rain put me here at the folks' place about 2;30. Not a fun trip, but it went without incident. I stopped once at a rest stop, once for gas, and once for a 15-minute nap.

The eBay listing of the tranny tailpiece ended just as I was getting here. I had it at $300 or best offer and got some offers, but none that I was willing to accept. So I chose to relist it for another week to see what happens. eBay told me AFTER my listing I should have counter offered ("bidders expect that"), so I'll do that this time.

Here's a hint as to the other reason for this trip up:

Care to guess what model? Or year? A little research on the internet will turn up lots of specifics if you're so inclined.

I find my self muting the TV and turning the radio all the way down when President Trump is speaking. President Obama had some speech mannerisms that drove me crazy, like dropping the "g" from "-ing" words when he was trying to sound cool. "Walkin" or "makin". Multiply that by a factor of 100 and you have our current Pres.
Just can't deal with it.

I did decide earlier today that his biggest problem may be that he's not Black. If he were his critics could all be labeled by his supporters as racists and summarily dismissed.
Sorry, that was at least non-PC, and maybe a bit snarky.

We're going out to Shari's for dinner in a few minutes. Or an hour. Maybe two. When you're 94 things happen VERY slowly, and then you back off the pace, just 'cause. I find going so slow exhausting. It will be interesting to see if that changes when I get old, though I hope NEVER to get that old.

Good work, Ken. It's a straight six automatic, so not highly collectible, but it will be a driver to replace the truck when it's sold, and Pam can drive this. I'm doing the inspection this afternoon, but I'm optimistic. I know the sellers - VERY good people - and am confident it's "as represented."
