"I can gain weight just listening to dinner music." - Ron Dentinger

Sunday night. A sermon, an adult S.S. class, and then an evening adult class. But I think it all went well and I feel MUCH better than I did a week ago.
I'm pooped.

It's cold here. The wind is down to about 25 mph but that still has the wind chill below freezing and there are snow flakes in the air!!

After way too much hassle (my own fault) Understanding Your Bible is now back in final form and should be back up on Amazon's site in another day or two.

I'm meeting some very nice and interesting people here at the church and when I'm out and about. After tonight's class I talked with a young (late 20s?) gal who lived in India until she was 13. She's now a pharmacist here on Long Island.
This morning I talked to Dennis, who is Native American, from a tribe indigenous to Long Island. He looks out for the 30 +/- collector cars for an old rich guy who spends winter in Florida. He's coming over Tuesday to pick me up and take me to see them.
(grin)

I knew I'd have a lot of down time here so I downloaded a couple of free books to my iPad. I've never read any Zane Grey and his titles looked intriguing so I got Valley of the Wild Horses. I'm about 2/3 through it and it's pretty good. I'll get more.
It's easy to read and very engaging. Clear good guys and bad guys. So far the bad guys lose and the good guys win, but it has enough twists and turns to be interesting. My kind of story.
I also dowloaded an Edgar Allen Poe collection. That will certainly be a change of pace!

OK, there should be more here but I'm pretty wasted. I'll be in bed in 10...9...8..
