"Idealism increases in direct proportion to one's distance from the problem." - John Galsworthy

An article this morning on Politico described MoveOn.Org as a "center-left" organization.
How far we've come that they should use that term.

If you know much about Mormonism (oops) you'll find this interesting:

I've been exploring the option of getting an older pickup truck to replace the crumbling Blaze and have come across a couple of vintage Fords over the last few weeks. I told Pam about the designations "bumpside" and "dentside" to describe one of the differences between two of the generations of Ford trucks. We talked about a truck I came across this morning and, unable to come up with the term bumpside she described it as an "outie"
Girl.

"No evidence of collusion." Dems are apoplectic. Expect them to seize on the fact the report didn't take a position on the matter of obstruction. Egro, he is guilty.
Note: I was not cleared of killing the Fourth Earl of Dunbary.
And don't expect the media to admit to any frenzy in the lead-up to Mueller's report. I suppose you could make a case that the news media survives off of sensationalism, and that balance and accuracy are expendable in that effort. But it can also be argued that there was clear bias.

What is it about really tall guys and making free throws?
I read somewhere about Shaq that it had to do with the size of their hands. The have trouble holding the ball  in a way that allows for the touch required. But some of them shoot jump shots OK.
On a related note, my bracket is trash before the first weekend is done and I'm a virtual lock for last place in the UFC league. Maybe I should have spent more than five minutes making out my bracket.

I got that third window installed and trimmed out but I didn't get the already-primed trim painted before the rain started.
Mistake.
I have to take that trim off and do it over. It's a "wood product" made out of some compressed kind of leftover wood stuff - sort of like hotdogs. Unfortunately, even primed it doesn't hold up to even a little light rain. No big deal in money or time to do it over, just frustrating not to have that project complete like I thought it was.

Where were these when I was growing up???
