"My mother-in-law had a pain under her left breast. Turned out to be a trick knee." - Phyllis Diller

It's 7:30 p.m. and I've already fallen asleep in my chair. So this won't be very long or very good.
I'm whooped.

The dermatologist took a spot off my back at my annual skin check this afternoon. No big deal; I've been through this a dozen times or more over the years and only twice did it come back probleatic. The anesthesia has worn off so that's not a lot of fun.
What was exciting was the lightning and thunder that rolled over his office twice while I was there. They say we may get more tomorrow, but like today's it will again be only in spots throughout the valley. Today's cells over the dr.'s office made me miss the big thunderstorms we had in Michigan. They came rolling in off Lake Michigan and could last for hours.

We had pork tenderloin for dinner. It's boneless. So when I got a sizable piece of bone in one bite we figured out it was the side of one of my molars.
Our dentist attends UFC and is a good guy. It's just that I'd rather only see him at church.

The CBS evening news tonight reported that 50% of Dems are disappointed that the President isn't guilty of colluding with the Russians. Apparently they'd rather have a President who's guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors.

The people are the best part.
People from back when, people from just now.

I've been working with Buddy on our walks. It turns out the trouble we've had has been my fault. We walk about a mile in the afternoon and I have him on a reel leash so he can go off the road and into the woods to do his business. The problem has been that after that he still wants to be in the woods as we walk home. Now I keep the reel "closed" unless his behavior shows he's clearly ready to pee or poop. The rest of the time he can only walk right next to my left leg. It took a few days for him to figure it out but now he stays right there as we walk out and back. No pulling against the leash.
He is SUCH a good dog.
And I can't really fault him for his attitude toward cats.

I was given this book last week by one of the staff at church. Why she got me the book is a long story and not important. It's not a Christian book  but its content is. An easy read and worth your attention. You can find their story on their website.

OK, I'm going to bed. I have a lot to get done tomorrow and need to be rested.
G'night.
