"I'm not conceited. Conceit is a fault and I have no faults." - David Lee Roth

From the headlines:

  • The first-ever photograph of a black hole shows it looks like....a black hole. Wow!
  • According to USAToday.com we're using our dishwasher all wrong. Nope. Not in MoHo. We have two dishwashers and we both are doing it just right.
  • How many people know that the now-dead Nipsey Hussle took that name from a 20th century Black comedian and actor named Nipsey Russlle?
A week ago I had a conversation with one of the other staff members about a well known article titled "The Tyranny of the Urgent." He had it in digital form and emailed it to me. It's still sitting on my desktop because I haven't had time to read it.
Hmmm.

We watched an old episode of Shark Tank on CNBC tonight and it was the one in which the two guys who invented the RocketBook got turned away. No offers.
I know 5 sharks who are all giving themselves a monster dope slap. Rocket Book is HUGE. I use mine almost every day (it's the new version that wipes clean with a wet cloth and skips the microwave routine) and people are always fascinated. I should get a commission based on the number I've "sold".
Watch the video via the link at the top of their home page and tell me you're not amazed.

Pam has a nasty cough and feels cruddy. Yep, she came home with the same viral infection that put her mom in the hospital. But Pam's not 96 so we're assuming it will run it's course in 5-7 days.
Yes, I feel it coming on.
Her mom was released this afternoon, but we don't know if she went home or to a rehab facility. The dr.s said this virus is highly contagious and everyone who went in her hospital room had to put on a gown and mask. We're 2,200 miles away but it seems unlikely that the senior residence is going to want her back until she's clear of the virus, and that won't happen for another 2-3 days.

I've got my class prep done and the next two days of Look Out emails in my draft folder. I'll do a couple more days of emails tomorrow morning and continue to work on the outline for my May adult ed class. I'm car pooling up to the men's retreat with Brett and his son, leaving his place at 3:00.
Sixty-plus guys in five houses at 3,400' elevation with marginal weather.
Should be interesting
