The license of the truck that ran over me. Wow.
I'll do the official paperwork tomorrow, but Pathway Bible Church was born this morning at about 11:45 local time. Twelve adults, two teens and six kids, all under the age of 6 attended the inaugural services - a worship service with the first in a series of sermons on Abraham, and then a Sunday School session where we began a look at what the church is and how it's to do its work.
I had no idea what to expect and had mentally prepared myself for a less than enthusiastic response. But we (our kids met us for lunch) talked about it, and the morning could not have gone better. Every part of it was excellent. I had fun.
I realize that things won't always go smoothly. We'll hit bumps in the road and I'll get frustrated. But I am thankful to God for the great morning we had today and I'm optimistic and enthusiastic about the future.
Hey, if you're interested in coming some Sunday, you are more than welcome! If you're from out of town you're welcome to our guest room! That would be fun.
Pam says that now that I'm a pastor again I can't put things like this in my blog. But when I showed it to her she laughed out loud. And again several minutes later. So blame her!
Put your mouse over the picture.

There's a little junior higher left in the best of us.
Did you watch the Roger Clemmens interview on 60 Minutes? McNammee said he'd sue for defamation of character depending on what Clemmens said. If he was serious, look for an athletic trainer and a lawyer on the steps of the courthouse tomorrow. Somebody is very dirty here, and my money is on the 44-year old with the 92 mph fastball.
I'm pretty sure there's more but my brain is too fried and my body too whooped to come up with it. This is a good whooped, though.
See you tomorrow.

SO glad your Inaugural service went well. I thought of you often this morning. I like the name. Wish I lived closer; I'd for sure take you up on that invitation to visit.
Now about that link....
