There's so much I don't understand

According to their schedule my brothers should have just landed at Sky Harbor Airport, which will put them here in an hour or so. We're ready! The house is clean, the cookies baked, and Pam has moved out of the guest bathroom and into the master bath. She normally uses the guest bathroom so we don't get in each other's way in the morning. But now "my" shower is filled with enough bottles and tubes to fill a chemistry lab.

What happens when you use a product by Dove called "Pro-Aging" and then use a creme labeled "Anti-Aging"?

I had planned to take the church registration papers to the Arizona Department of Corporations yesterday, but as I looked over them I realized I needed the originals and two copies. So I rode down on the motorcycle early this afternoon, only to hear the gal say, "I don't know why the instructions ask for two copies. We only need the originals." Oh well.
If I filled them out correctly we should have them back in 3-5 days.
I guess if I didn't fill them out correctly we'll still have them back 3-5 days; I'll just have to resubmit them. Repay the fee?

Mitt Romney won in Michigan. This is the guy who told Michigan voters in a stump speech that, unlike McCain, who said some of those lost jobs would never come back, he would bring all of them back to the Michigan. How can anyone vote for a fellow who would say anything as obviously bogus as that? He is either incredibly naive or an unashamed liar, and neither one makes for a good president.
At this point my inclinations lean toward Huckabee, though I doubt he can climb above a weak third place. And I don't have enough information to have settled on the matter.

I worked on my sermon and my lesson this morning. I enjoy the prep almost as much as the delivery. I guess I really see them as different parts of the same endeavor. Mr. Reich, my homiletics prof, told us that unless/until the truth has gotten hold of the preacher it can't get hold of his listeners. As I read the passage, work to understand it, read about it, chew it over, I get excited about what it says and its import for life. Sharing that on Sunday is a wonderful side benefit.
Preachers are fortunate!
