In preparing for Sunday's worship service this morning I listened to Passion Worship Band's version of "Fairest Lord Jesus." I really like it. It's a contemporary musical arrangement that fits the dignity of the lyrics. Contemporary and congruent. They aren't mutually exclusive.

Alex Kozinski, chief judge of the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, is currently presiding over an obsenity trial. Well, not exactly. The trial has been suspended because it turns out that Judge Kozinski posted a series of pornographic pictures and obscene videos on his personal web site. He says he didn't realize the site could be viewed by the public. Well that makes it Okie Dokie.
R Kelly has offered to direct the Judge's next video project.
