Whatever look you were going for, you missed.

Who's winning?
This afternoon I went back and installed the thermostat and light switch. They're thrilled and said they'd be calling me for more projects. I like leaving happy customers behind.
I also went to look at a potential job. I'll put together a materials list tomorrow morning so we can figure out what labor will run.

On the way home the classical music station played "Peter and the Wolf" sans narration. That's a fun piece of music, and if you get a version with the narration it makes a great way to introduce your kids to orchestral music. There are a lot of good versions out there, several done by well-known voices.

Check out this video. I don't know which is more impressive - what he's trained those horses to do or his balance and athleticism.

Our focus this coming Sunday morning will be the first 12 verses of James 3 - the tongue and the trouble it can get us into.
"Live by the sword, die by the sword."
I've frequently told my congregations that it's not if, but when I say something stupid and/or offensive. Speech is the pastors stock-in-trade and that means sooner or later he'll stick that #10 squarely in his mouth.
Cut him a little slack. Unless he makes a habit of it, consider it inevitable and a job related hazard.
