A gross ignoramus - 144 times worse than an ordinary ignoramus.

You'll want to click this pic to see it in a larger format. It's the Golden Gate Bridge from the top of one of the towers. Could you look down from that height? I'm not sure I could, at least not without a death grip on something very solid.

On the way home tonight Pam said, "You must be exhausted." Yep, I am. I was pretty amped up for both services this morning, and this evening's gig was brief but very high energy. Some of you are familiar with my "Amen, Uh-huh, Das Right" bit. I adapted it for tonight. Josh's church had 156 people for their Thanksgiving pot-luck, and there was a ton of really good food. I decided to start my carbo loading early and throw in lots of other non-carb stuff, too. I was in between dinner and dessert and the group was very responsive. Had a good time.

The Cards lost to the Giants, but they made a game of it and Warner finished the game healthy.

The plan is to get up early tomorrow morning and go for an easy, spinning ride shortly after sunrise. The race starts at 7:30 and the forecasted temp for that hour of Thursday morning is the low 50's - about what we'll have tomorrow morning. I've done runs in that temp range but riding is a different thing; there's a wind chill factor from riding at speed. Do I want a long sleeved shirt? Gloves? A ride tomorrow morning will help answer those questions. Of course if we have the rain they've forecast for Thursday morning we'll have much bigger issues than long or short sleeved shirt.

BTW, we had two couples and another guy as visitors this morning at Pathway. Excellent! That's three weeks in a row we've had visitors. And I've heard again of more people planning to visit.
T'ank you, Fadder.

I'm headed for B-E-D!
G'night.
