"The day Microsoft makes something that doesn't suck is the day they start making vacuum cleaners." - Ernst Plugge

The Cardinals played more like a cellar team than like NFC West Division winners. They'd better get their mojo back soon or the post season is going to be real short.

Police were called to a gruesome scene today in Buckeye, a rural town 15 miles west of the metro valley. They arrived to find a body burning in a field. But what confused me about this rather odd situation is what the report said at the end, that the police couldn't put out the fire for fear of destroying evidence. Huh?? Doesn't the fire destroy evidence? Put out the fire and the evidence is just wet.

The [very gracious] adults at Pathway can, as a result of this morning's lesson, give two very different answers to the question, "Who was Israel's first king?" and both of those answers will be correct. Can you explain?

Late this afternoon I told Pam I was going for a walk. I actually went out and jogged a mile. I just wanted to see how it felt and whether or not I could start back to running. But don't tell anybody, because I think my family would scold me for doing that.
(I felt OK. A little weak but I expected that.)

There's probably more, but it's Sunday night and my brain is fried. I'll try to make up for it tomorrow night.
Back to the game.
